IRIS Desktop Watch

IRIS Desktop Watch is a service that provides: network configurations, printer configurations, and Windows operating system changes.  Most of the jobs are carried out remote­ly using a secure remote control method which allows us to take remote control of an ailing desktop as if we were actually sitting at the user's desk.

 

Our tools can scour your IT environment (desktops and servers) to determine what is and what is not present in the desktop & Server. You can figure out what Operating system, hot-fixes, and applications the system has; what kind of processor, the amount of memory, the size and free space of the hard drive, the type of monitor, keyboard and a whole slew of greater eso­teric items like network IP addresses, Ports, proto­cols and Adapter configurations, Shares, usernames, group configurations etc.

 

All this information can be categorized and used for record keeping purposes and asset valuation. We also pro­vide support ticket reporting so you know who called for support and how the issue was resolved.

 

 

IRIS Desktop Watch includes the following features:

  • Vipre® Enterprise Antivirus subscription included and updates to this product along with scheduled virus scans.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy® Antispyware Small Business Edition included and updates to this product with monitoring and immunization from spyware
  • LogMeIn Pro2 ® remote access included to each PC in your business. This allows not just remote access, but file sharing, remote printing, desktop sharing, among other features. This functionality is used by IRIS for support purposes and can also be used by authorized users within your business to access computers remotely which means you can log into your computers from home!
  • Scheduled installation and monitoring of Windows Updates
  • Scheduled and monitored PC maintenance (disk cleanup, disk defragmentation, temp file removal, etc)
  • Standard technical support is included in the monthly price. Technical support is for hardware and software within the physical retail stores. Hardware and software includes, but is not limited to, PC’s, switches, routers, printers, POS peripherals, Windows networking, and MS Office
